At Reijmyre Glassworks, founded in 1810, master glassblowers have been transforming molten glass into timeless works of art for more than two centuries. The craft continues to thrive here today, in the very same workshops and with the same dedication to precision and quality.
A visit to Reijmyre is not simply about viewing finished pieces on a shelf—it is about experiencing the artistry behind them. Our guided tour invites you to explore the rich history of the glassworks, discover the innovations that established Reijmyre as a pioneer of Swedish glassmaking, and learn about the designers who have shaped our collections over the years.
One of the most memorable moments is standing beside the glassblowers at the furnace. Watch as glowing glass at 1,200°C is gathered, shaped, and refined into elegant forms. The warmth of the kiln, the scent of heated materials, and the calm precision of the craftsmen combine to create an experience that lingers long after your visit.
More than a journey through history, Reijmyre offers an encounter with a living cultural heritage. Here, in the heart of Östergötland, Swedish glass is still made by hand, using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations.
Please arrive at least five minutes before your experience is scheduled to start, we are located on the Reijmyre Glassbruk estate, which is very easy to find, once you find your way to Rejmyre it’s the
building with the enormous chimney in the heart of the town!
Car parking is available directly in front of the glassworks building, make your way up the stairs to the front of the building and our assistants in the shop will be waiting to welcome you and start your Reijmyre Glassbruk experience.

Our distillery lives within the historic walls of Rejmyre Glassworks, where glass-making artisans have worked for generations. Here, tradition meets innovation. Every batch is distilled by hand in our copper pot still, where Master Distiller Bex Almqvist makes critical decisions—reflux, temperature, the precise moment to make cuts—that define our signature balance and texture
Nestled away in a beautiful 1800’s industrial building you will find T-J – our 110 liter capacity Müller Copper Pot Still and Bex Almqvist – our founder and Master Distiller. Here we produce a range of products under our own brand Almqvist Destilleri and provide contract distilling for Bars and Restaurants who wish to create their own range of spirits.
Hospitality has always been at the heart of what we do. Drawing on decades of experience in international events and education, we design bespoke experiences for groups large and small, at our historic Rejmyre distillery or a venue of your choosing.
