Make the most of your time in Rejmyre by joining one of our combined experiences, taking in both the Almqvist Destilleri and Reijmyre Glassbruk. Designed with flexibility in mind these tours offer something for every budget and schedule.
Visitors to Reijmyre Glassworks are invited to discover the story behind the glass. Guided tours offer insight into the company’s rich history, the innovations that established Reijmyre as a pioneer of Swedish glassmaking, and the visionary designers whose work has shaped its identity. One of the most memorable moments is standing beside the glassblowers at the furnace, watching molten glass at 1,200 °C transformed—blow by blow—into distinctive, timeless pieces. The warmth of the kiln, the scent of hot glass, and the precision of skilled craftsmen combine to create an immersive experience that connects past and present, tradition and creativity.
In 2022, the revitalisation of the Reijmyre Glassworks estate welcomed the arrival of Almqvist Destilleri and its brand home, marking a new chapter in the site’s long tradition of craftsmanship. The distillery’s Nordic Dry Gin and Rejmyre Akvavit have already earned international recognition, featured in some of the world’s finest cocktail bars and praised by leading voices in the spirits industry.
Visitors are invited to enjoy a distinctive farm-sale experience designed to appeal to both the curious newcomer and the seasoned connoisseur. Discover the natural, Nordic-inspired botanicals that define the character of the spirits, meet T.J.—the distillery’s elegant copper pot still—and explore the science and artistry behind the distillation process.
Within all our experiences is included time for perusing and shopping in both the Reijmyre Glassbruk shop, and the Almqvist Destilleri brand home, find unique statement pieces for your home, and delicious and innovative bottles for your drinks cabinet.
All of our distillery tours are designed to meet the legal requirements for gårdsförsäljning (farm sales) in Sweden. After the experience, guests aged 20+ will have the opportunity to purchase a 700 ml bottle directly from our store.
We offer two, three and four hour tours together with the glassworks. A four hour tour would include:
Please arrive at least five minutes before your experience is scheduled to start, we are located on the Reijmyre Glassbruk estate, which is very easy to find, once you find your way to Rejmyre it’s the building with the enormous chimney in the heart of the town!
Car parking is available directly in front of the glassworks building, make your way up the stairs to the front of the building and our assistants in the shop will be waiting to welcome you and start your Reijmyre Glassbruk experience.
Our gift cards give your person the freedom to choose their own experience at the distillery. You select the amount and can add a personal message. The gift card is sent by email, ready to use whenever they are.
Our distillery lives within the historic walls of Rejmyre Glassworks, where glass-making artisans have worked for generations. Here, tradition meets innovation. Every batch is distilled by hand in our copper pot still, where Master Distiller Bex Almqvist makes critical decisions—reflux, temperature, the precise moment to make cuts—that define our signature balance and texture

Nestled away in a beautiful 1800’s industrial building you will find T-J – our 110 liter capacity Müller Copper Pot Still and Bex Almqvist – our founder and Master Distiller. Here we produce a range of products under our own brand Almqvist Destilleri and provide contract distilling for Bars and Restaurants who wish to create their own range of spirits.

Hospitality has always been at the heart of what we do. Drawing on decades of experience in international events and education, we design bespoke experiences for groups large and small, at our historic Rejmyre distillery or a venue of your choosing.
